Yeah you can only short a bottom in the last hour in a fast market. Just caught a few handles on the upside , out too early again though

The White House announced tariff list on Chinese products after the market closed yesterday:

It's a news driven market and it seems that whenever the market trying to improve bad news will come and hit it hard............

 

And then Chinese retaliated with their list of tariffs:

Its always interesting how whenever you get a straight up market for any time frame it always ends with huge volatility.  Market should never have taken off in January it was just to satisfy all of the selling were seeing now.  Everyone can look at their technicals to death but this wont end until we get a day such as today where we see the market turnaround and close higher for the day.  Sure we may see new highs later in the year but it will be just normal market moves once again no more straight up stuff.  Will be very interesting!!

If SPX ends the day in green the bottom is confirmed.  Seasonally it's about the time for a rally..............

VIX is still up, this is the problem.  SPX looks unable to close the day in positive.................

If SPX unable to hold above 2600 by the close then looking for more lows to come..............
