These are the trends in various timeframes based on a objective trend identification methodology. No "If"s and "But"s are allowed.

LONG TERM

This controls the long term trends which runs for years, mostly good for investors. To me this is the timeframe which determines bull and bear markets.

Currently BULLISH
Will turn bearish approximately around 2500 level. Will publish the exact level, if and when we break 2500.

INTERMEDIATE TERM

This controls the medium term trends which run for weeks to a few months. Trading in the direction of the intermediate term trend offers the highest risk/reward and path of least resistance for short and medium term traders.

Currently BEARISH
Will turn bullish approximately around 2760 level. Will publish the exact level, if and when we break 2760.

SHORT TERM

This controls the short term trends which runs anywhere from 2 - 15 days. These signals can change quickly and for nimble short term traders.

Currently BULLISH

Does it make a difference to you whether these levels are exceeded intraday vs the end of the day?  Thanks.

For long term these levels need to be violated on a weekly basis. For the intermediate term, on a daily basis. That's why i mentioned these are approximate levels and only upon closing will i know the exact levels.

FWIW - I have 2450 as bull trend level on my system - daily close, but 2500 is the Key pivot (KP) for IT on my system - and as posted, i'm still

waiting for that test, maybe just me and andr99 LOL.

ST trend I have 2615 SPX cash as huge magnet here, likely, that will be ST decision point whether we get another bounce attempt.

My St signal's went sell at open, and have a ways to run today ... but we also will trigger an hourly swing sell if 2615 is broken.

2615 tagged -  I have no buy setups here, so now looking for 2575-2590 next KP, minor support 2600.

2590 tagged - I'm getting some oversold signals here, so either bounce high odds between 2575-2590 here, if not, we will get one of those acceleration collapses.

Just to follow up - I try to keep low profile but I hate to leave thread hanging ...

 - we did as expected bounce off 2590  as was high odds

 - I now have swing sell signals, swing trendicator also gone to swing down, ideally break of 2660 to confirm, and eventual close under 2645 next week.

I still have IT target much lower, but there is a long complex pattern setup here, patience required, but system has high odds sell here for start of that

move to new IT lows.
