With President Trump's cancellation of his Council of the Americas trip https://www.google.c...aVP8CZircKsaah8  ,  the administration seems to be signaling something will happen soon on Syria, but not exactly what.  https://en.wikipedia...e_strike#Russia The wiki entry on the last strike might provide some context, but who knows?

Russian military on full alert. Something exciting is expected, or just BS? Who knows...

We might learn if the Russians can shoot down cruise missiles.  My recall is that the last time Trump said he was restrained and didn't target the Syrian command and control facilities which could be targets if it happened again.

It looks like another faked chemical attack.  Last time, the CIA-backed rebels exploded chemical munitions in the town square after the aerial bombing had already ended.  It was probably the same this time as the reporting over the weekend had no reporting of chemical weapons.  Even Trump is saying that it doesn't matter if it happened or not.  They're pissed that Assad refuses to turn over US, British, and Israeli officers captured during the siege of the rebels.
