No doubt, packaged and securitized and sold to the FED for brand new money.  If the FED ever discovers or discloses what ever percentage of their holdings are junk, and is forced to stop buying private debt, this will not be pretty.   There is no precedence on how to predict the outcome or consequences of their purchases over time as no central bank in the history of the world has ever purchased PRIVATE debt during or after (for over 10 years) to ease an economic crisis.

These subprimes require an LTV of 80-100%...quite different than the ones in the last blowup.
