Interestingly, Financial Commercial Paper pays a negative premium to Non-Financial Commercial Paper. I.e. the smart money isn't remotely concerned about getting paid back by the Financial companies that they're lending to.

In my experience, a negative reading (we're now at -0.03) is a ST Buy.

Just a reminder... first came the LIbor issue in 2008, then commercial paper went flaky...

It's a secondary CONFIRMING indicator....

And the fact they are trying to do away with LIBOR should tell you everything you need to know....

Here's where they are going with this...

Key Phrase:

https://asreport.ame...ting-an-upgrade

Over the next few weeks, there will be a “gradual” transition to submissions of interest rates on actual wholesale financial transactions, rather than solely in-house opinions, in reporting the rates they would agree to borrow funds from other banks.

This is going to backfire like nothing else in history...

They have lied to each other for years...

They already don't trust each other...

When this thing goes the wrong way, there's going to be no BS buffer, which probably saved our @$$3$ in 2008...
