Thanks for sharing. I use SMA 13/34 and the difference is so small to be insignificant.

In trending markets, we used 4/8/16, and convergence of all three averages constituted "free parking", a safe place to buy a stock.

 a service giving ETF recommendations from Interactive Brokers uses 4,9,18 similar to 4/18/16 just listed.

I first learned it in 1994 when I attended seminars in growth stocks given by Ian Woodward.  He also had overbought indicators for market and stocks based on benchmarks for previous rallies and how far they deviated from the 200- and 50-day moving averages, and the breadth percentage for IBD's accumulation/distribution rankings of A, B, C, D, and E.
