In addition to 900K, there was also hi activity in OTM Calls expiring June 1 and 20...while this is interesting, I have no reason to long VXX at this time. Good luck with your trade...

Me thinks GOLDMAN knows something about what is happening re: strange behavior of VIX and is trying to alert

the CBOE et al.

Wall Street’s ‘fear index’ is giving stock-market investors a wrong reading, says Goldman

Maybe 400 S&P points lower is a more realistic level but 1K lower?

Opinion: S&P 500 should be 1,000-plus points lower than it is today, strategist Rosenberg says

Not a crash, but a zig=zag lower, he says.  LOL.   Markets don't behave so reasonably smooth !   After one zig and a zag, people either dump stocks or load up .....

Here's a thought: in a declining market, $650 billion in share buybacks cannot stop a protracted decline or crash. Only simpletons believe cororations wil rush in to catch knives if their stock is crashing.

Here’s a thought: Maybe the stock market won’t crash this year because it can’t

A Warning sign, yes, but the markets still looks like there is fuel in the tank for another mini-leg up to about 2775/80

Just don't trust GOLDMAN et al when they offer these "warnings & recommendations"!

There goes that 10-yr yield above 3% and the 2-yr hit a 10-year high

US Treasury yields tick higher as 10-year yield tops 3%, 2-year note rate hits 2008 high

Will be closing long VXX

Yeah, I think VXX could retest the January lows (25 to 26), what a great buying opportunity that will be!

But, I will be buying if it goes below 30
