(Most of the folks on this board probably did well as we're a community of active & advanced traders, not your typical passive index investor).

I broke even as I had sold out 3 weeks ago.  Picked up a little SDS.  I'll see how it goes and add to SDS if we continue down.  Six weeks to the start of the next earnings season, and although earnings were great last quarter, the stock market did not zoom on the reports.  We'll be news driven in June.  Last year the stock market was up big while earnings were not, I wonder if this is going to be a "catch up" year, with earnings up big but the stock market not up big.

My swing trades typically last a couple of weeks to a couple of months.

ALSO!  Are any of you on the Keto or Paleo Diet (or Atkins diet)?  Is anyone here a Diabetic or simply watching your sugar intake for health reasons?  We discovered a ZERO SUGAR brand of wines.

I like SDS myself.  I haven't played with it in a long time but it's a good play right here.  Nice way top hedge your longs.

Has anyone ever wondered why there have been new and different diets for over a 100 years,,,because a diet never works unless you stay on it forever which no one ever does.  The only real way is to eat well all week with smaller portions cut out most of your carbs and sugar and then once a week eat anything you want so your body doesn't go into survival mode.  Main thing about it is dont eat treats all week, smaller portions, drink water instead of pop and maybe exercise or at the least for walks every day.  Actually when did this site turn into a health care site lol!!!

Add to that: avoid GMOs at all costs and bad oils like Canola and corn, and here's how to read food labels: if it has a label, it's not food.

Keto works for me, metabolism won't tolerate sugar, slows it down and stop using fat for fuel. Maybe 5 lbs overweight now

but could balloon on sugar, it's the sole reason people are fat. I can go to a pizza buffet and eat all I can hold and no gain.

For sugar craving I eat bread and starchy veg. like corn, potatoes, rice. Very little fruit, still too much sugar, no coffee, tea,

soft drinks, water only.
