The US will continue for a while longer, but Europe is on the verge of entering a LT CIT... E
Epicenter is not likely until after that bear market in Europe and the US is behind us.

"Epicenter" means the location directly above the actual center. I'm unable to see how that could apply usefully to a particular price or time or both on a stock market chart.

Wave 3 start....... At the moment there are a lot of positive aspects about the economy.... Increasing Sales of Homes, Earnings Increasing, people spending more money, and GDP growth rate accelerating from 2% to 4% in the last 3 months... I see help wanted ads about everywhere I turn in Austin ( for $12 - $15/hr ) type jobs. So we should be going higher...... Stock valuations are on the high side but only slightly due to the robust economy... There are some negatives on the spending side.... New mobile phone sales are not doing well, as people do not feel they can not spend money on the latest phone. Auto Sales are only up 1.35% year/year which is good but there are signs we are getting ahead of the curve. I'm keeping my eye on the market and numbers to see if we will bottom out here, but my charts have Medium Term Bearish and Short Term Mildly Bullish, so I'm in cash.

I tried to explain that a couple of years ago to ''the inventor'' of this terminology, but it was useless. When he says epicenter he simply means ''center'', but obviously he ignores that a wave propagates both in one direction and its opposite wether it is a plain wave, a cilindric one or a spheric one. The best thing would be if they gave up to call the stock market moves as ''waves'', but it would be too beautiful for our ears

Ignoring inappropriate market terminology for the purposes of this discussion, if the market weren't improving after eight years of ridiculously over-accomodative monetary policy, indebting our great-grandchildren et al. forever, we'd really be in trouble. <g>
