Sure, we're all fades from time to time. But after running this board for 18 years (almost to the day), I've found that this crew is, for the most part, really pretty good.

 

That's why I don't look for tops unless there are a lot of Short Bears in the polls, nor bottoms unless there are a lot of Long Bulls.

 

Similarly, when we are really leaning hard long (4:1 FL:FS, but less than infinity), it's a "Tipping Point" Buy. I think that when so many of us are confidently long, there is a reason, or rather there are several very good reasons to be long. It's a good signal anyway.

OK, but your polls are designed for signals lasting......for how long ? Short term I think. If you ask me if we go up or down in the short term, which might mean till the end of July at most, I would tell you that I' m bullish too. But beyond that time, the bullish game is over till sept-oct in my very humble opinion.

We're just talking tools for making money day by day. This is just one tool that's very predictive. And again, this crew is notoriously on the right side of things at turns any import.

please don' t take my posts as they were aiming at criticize. I just feel worried when I see your bullish posts because it seems to me that IT  we're going lower. The answer to this discrepancy probably is in the different time frames we trade
