Their problem is that they decided that they could control speech and thought and advertising revenue suffered greatly.

 

Not at all surprising and a stern warning to other (social) media platforms of consequences of such actions.

For social media there is no border.

But Russian bots can not be as free as legitimate citizens.

FB screwed up once, they better get it right now.

I deleted FB long time ago and will never return.

Young people are abandoning it too.

College students use it to read official info from their group or school pages.

People are not as engaged with this tool anymore as before.

They have price to pay for pouring onto people with propaganda and lies

I never signed up for FecesBook...

 

So they don't have my data, but even when you sign off, they have your data forever, and they will continue selling it and selling it...

 

I suggest changing email addresses as a starter... because over time your box is going to be stuff full of Feces...

 

and never go back there, never give them your new email address.

I am dumping my "electronic leash" so-called "smart" phone and going back to dumbphone....

 

There's just nothing I need to know that is so urgent, in that case I would get a phone call anyway...

 

"smart" phone is a dumb choice now with so many WiFi hackers trying to steal your data, compromise your banking and credit...

 

Who knows, maybe I will revert to no internet entirely, get prepared for the great internet blackout that will surely come one day...

High volume churn in narrow range today, if the shorts can't push it lower, they'll give up, and it will go up some, market should breathe a sigh of relief and follow it. (JMHO)

Good luck during your withdrawal period...it's going to be tough not having immediate information, no less, video cameras, security systems, radio, television, and working with vendors/businesses who have changed their entire marketing to internet only communications.
