Firstly i exited my longs at 2854 for +45 points profit. How the technicals know when to exit always puzzles me. So there must be insiders with the news information, who position themseleves ahead of the news. The price always gives ample clues.

I expected a minor correction of 10-20 points, but it overshot that yesterday. Thanks to news like Turkish Lira, which create market inefficiencies for traders to exploit. 

 

There was some technical damage in the short term. It takes 1-3 days to repair the damage. Then we should resume the ST uptrend to new highs. I am not expecting a continuation buy on Monday because of the technical damage, but some back and forth action to repair the damage. By tuesday or wednesday, we should get a buy signal.

 

Now if we don't rally and consolidate below friday's lows, then we could be looking at a bearish trend change a la Feb this year. But that's only speculation at this point.

While I am thinking similarly, I am curious about the predictions of what the indicators are going to do. Aren't we supposed to use the indicators to predict the market and not predict the indicators themselves?

Sounds like your system is based on ema crossovers for trend change instead of pivots or points.

Everybody is paying attentio to Turkey and the Lira, Fridays data was ignored, show normalization of inflation and future interst rates. We will see if the good news is bad news cyclw begins or not. (JMHO)

Not predicting the indicators at all.  The fact that i won't get a continuation buy signal on Monday is deterministic. If i don't get a buy in 1 day, then it should take 2 or more days. How is that predicting your indicators? I am just reading them loud.

There are one or two big moves in a month. I have already made 50+ points for this month. I have a feeling i am going to nail another one this month. Animal spirits are getting unleashed on this board. Must be a bottom.
