Right now Rolex is holding back production and used pieces are at a premium.

 

there is no guatentee that it will always be the case.

That’s true on production being held back but as for values every increasing; that’s a lock. Anyone here whose owned a Rolex for any length of tine knows they are way more valuable now than when they first purchased them. I consider them not only a great one price and jewelry but also an “asset” as they do in fact appreciate in value, unlike cars, even some stocks!
