Saw a post a few weeks back saying that someone bought Dec 2200 puts by the million$$$. Yuge Bet! Anyone else see this? have any ideas who / why? thnks.

Not me, not even one of those puts.
But I wish I did because I would have closed at least half of it by now, with big profits
Not seeing any DEC SPY PUTS with such large Open Interest but the DEC SPY PUTS have doubled in recent times,
the DEC SPY PUT high today was 12.59 and was as low as 4 not too long ago
Could be a hedge by BILLION $ Funds, Hedge Funds, others.
