In hindsight, in order to make trend trading work you had to be out of the market by the close, to lock in whatever profit you had,

holding expecting follow through to be faced with a big gap or fast reversal just won't work, in other words bear markets with chop

can only be day traded with any success.  I chose to hedge looking for the crash, I took more drawdown than I wanted at the end because 

of theta.

Stockcharts again today not printing SPX volume.

 

 

Shorted at 2785, 21st 282P and Monday 278C in case they gap it up big then. This sell should fill the 2740 or 2680 gaps before it's done

unless it's just a dip.

I don't like to hedge, but right now a short is countertrend until proven otherwise, so I have no choice because there is

high odds there won't be follow through next week.

Looking for a bounce that get's sold tomorrow, 2700-40 area.

Investing.com charts are down, I think that has a lot to do with the rally failure overnight, doesn't matter if brokerages charts are working,

one problem somewhere will derail everything, that I fully believe.

Added Dec. 7 282C, may add to Dec. hedge later in case of a crash.

Added to hedge, I'm done for awhile. This might be different, but I made the mistake the first leg down not taking profits and watching 50-80 points the next day reverse, can't take that chance. Much more than 2715 and it goes to 2500.
