From the Link:

The leading stocks in the marijuana sector surged today on the Sessions news but they were already on the run with the market bounce.

Long-term breadth (measured by the McClellan Summation Index) turned up after a 40-day decline on October 31st, giving a clear market-timing signal to buy the market on the open on November 1st, five trading days ago.

CGC is up 23.7%, TLRY 41.8%, CRON 29.2% and the ETF for the sector, MJ is up 16.9% (see the charts below, the white flags on the lower right tell the gains far per $100K invested).

A QUICK HIGH IN THE WEED PATCH

Unfortunately, not the weeds.  TQQQ and SPY options.

Looks like more sessions without Sessions.

Ultimately, it's up to the Congress to make the changes to the CSA...the AG just follows the laws that are passed by this same body.

True but the guy was basically a lobbyist against it for those he really works for. When it is probably the healthiest plant on earth for us.

As many humans have died from Cannabis as Unicorns.  ZERO!!!

It is also the one plant that has all amaino acids and an amazing amount of protein. Not to mention the benefits to our cannabinoid system. I can go on and on but the lies put out from the 8 companies that got together back in 1930 to trash what was 80% of all medicine, cannabis, to eliminate their biggest competition and sell their crap death pills.  Well lets just say I'm tired of the lies and the people suffering and dying needlessly for the benefits of those SOBs. Thankfully the truth is coming out.

He was doing his job regardless of current information on the subject...whether it be morally or culturally.

Again, the CSA was written in 1971....things change, but as any DA or AG, your job is to follow the rule of law that is passed by a legislative body.

No doubt Fib he was doing that but at one point was going a bit to hard on the subject and hassling honest folks in States that had given it the ok. I know not fedral.

I can think of several issues he should of given more importance than messing with Cannabis but they may have caused him to lose his head.

Going to be a new sherif in town lets see what happens.

State laws are secondary to federal laws. If one has a beef on this, they need to talk to their Congressional representative to help make changes necessary to compliment what is known today.

Aside from that, the only arrests I have seen in the last 2 years (and they have been very few) have been with very large farms, caught in transportation and not with "honest" individuals who are within the laws of their municipality.

If you're hired to do a job, you must do it with respect of the guidelines of that job without one ounce of favoritism or bias...whether it be in government or the private sector. Break that trust, and you're fired.
