They don't need commercial paper for sovereign debt and Target2 balances.

By the way, missing now these clever d---ses - DaChief and the Fib - to da moon, no? :)

Da Cheif is missing.

Fib has been completely correct in his weekend forcasts and twitter posts.

I for one really appreciate Technical watch and the prescient info Fib puts out there for FREE.

The Fed is the definitive enemy to the markets here.....until they can start backtracking on the recent FOMC press conference.  Back track having not even a short fixed period of wait and see how things look for further rate hikes. Not even 3 months?   But even bigger is the balance sheet......Powell you can take that word autopilot and shove it now or shove it later.  It's only a matter of when you do it, and how painful it's going to be when you finally do it.  Only idiots have things on autopilot.  There's atleast a million reasons why you don't use the autopilot.

Fib is in a league of his own.  If you take time to learn what he is teaching, combined with Tom McClellan(could be redundant) and Terry Laundry's ideas, it will put you in 1 % of the traders out there.

p.s.  I too couldn't stand him when I first joined this site(long long time ago) but he is right far more times than he is wrong.

Why would you say that? It measures what it measures. It's very useful identifying serious issues within the financial system. We don't have any serious issues within the financial system at this point. Perfectly accurate.

We DO have a problem with the Fed, but that's a different matter. There may be some other issues too.

so basically commercial paper is useless, no? It failed to predict smth like 500 points move in S&P

Well, we are looking for tools to predict moves and make some money, right?
If the tool did not serve - what is the use? Commercial paper tool was telling - everything is fine, no? And we had 17% move down. But may be I am just wrong..
