Agree. Also 2706 is not far away, .618, break that and new highs eventually, bear comes back again after that though.
I don't think new highs close on a monthly basis.

And CNN's "Fear and Greed" Index touched an extremely fearful "3" at the bottom (zero is as far down as it can go) and is only now climbing to neutral ground. And my nifty-50 stock list had all 50 stocks on sells for three days running across the bottom with 42 of them deeply oversold on December 24th, just before...
And for those of us who follow breadth, via the NYMO/NYSI, are enjoying this rocket ride to the upside (and clutching ejection cord all along the way) while those who have held through the entire fall in the Fall are, I guess, sweating blood over whether or not they will be back to their breakeven at the top (how is blood sweat as a sentiment gauge?).
Swing trading. Recommend it. Even in the context of long-term bull and bear markets.
