That political stuff doesn't belong.  The shutdown is barely felt in DC.  Certain departments, such as DoD, have already successfully passed appropriations bills funding their operations.

"Without a funding bill, nine federal departments and several agencies — representing about a quarter of the $1.24 trillion in government spending for fiscal year 2019 — will shut down at 9 p.m. PST on Friday. The remaining three-quarters of the government, including the Department of Defense, Department of Labor and Health and Human Services, were already funded and won’t be affected by the shutdown."

39 Million people that receive food stamps will start looking for work....watch those employment numbers!

This is just such an ignorant statement that it is not worth much time to address but I'll give you this link:

THE TRUTH ABOUT FOOD STAMPS

"If you've heard this story before, don't stop me because I'd like to hear it again," Groucho Marx (on market history?).

“I've learned in options trading simple is best and the obvious is often the most elusive to recognize.”

"The god of trading rewards persistence, experience and discipline, and absolutely nothing else."

There are plenty of able bodied Americans on food stamps that do not want to work or are incentivized not to work too much in order to live on government assistance.

I have seen this first hand....again watch those employement numbers!
