While discovering the cause of our live chart posting issue I took a look around and was reminded of some really cool stuff.

In the shorter time frame, the SH build up the 1st two trading days of this year were very large at $460 million in total.  The last two days have seen $400 million of that short bet come off at a cost of 230 and 290 SPX points.  Ouch.  Little less fuel going forward in that category.

Darris, I thought that $400MM just aged off the 21-day. I was going to run those numbers last night but figured nothing would have happened. Thanks for the heads up.

 

This is actually a bit Bearish for the market.
