I thought it was L=7 and L/2=3.5 because the move is often in the multiples of L or L/2, up or down?  Is it the case, Z?

Lol 12.   ryanoo correct or easier to say half a level, 7 divided by 2= 3.50 thus the division symbol  /

It is quite simple and why I use it every day.  After a little while using it,  I will never trade without it.  Like day and night in trading once you grab a hold of how it flows on all time frames.

The average level is 4 but as we all know nothing is avg. in this business so one must be flexible to what is going on that day. If it is moving slow then we will get under the 4 levels and if fast over but the main thing is to watch for the pivot at the levels point or half or even quarter when the level is say larger than 16.

Lets use this trading session from open at 6pm yesterday as an example.  From 2783.25 to (here we may assume 2 levels before open...so the math would look like 83.25+14 (2 levels assumption) = 97.25. So you may want to trade it to 96 and grab a bunch of points. Leave dessert for the adventurous. Now from the stall at 99 high so far you may think we will be going lower if that is the case you may say well 3 levels from up there down would be 99-21 (3 levels) = 2778. It could go more but you must gauge the flow and the risk and use those reference points to look where high odds turns will likely be.

Sorry guys meant to say above on the example from the first low at 85 last night add the 2 levels or 14 in todays case = 99 on the bullseye and it turned there.

STILL SEEMS USING THE LAST TWO NUMBERS WOULD LEAVE NO CONFUSION.  ie: 2798.50    would be 98

But your running this show so it is what it is.

Thanks Pete
