Mss That looks like a nice indicator. I was wondering, how did it do from the sept 2000 to aug 2002 time frame? Could you show us that picture? Thanks, for all.

Hi geosing, very nice charts an they answer the questions about how they do to a "T", thanks. as any indicator one has to fit "it" to their style of trading etc. :cat:

Some really good looking charts here with some nice indicators showing that we might have a good possibility this week ??? "Swing Waves" has some excellent participants with supurb charting and analysis skills !!!! My humble contribution with a few trendlines says we are in a good position,,,,,, but I am still looking for a move above the major MA line ?????? Looks like it could be an interesting week !!!

Hi CGD,
geosing had nice charts and they show the ratios very well. Below is a chart from '00 till now. I normally only have a year or less on a chart and adjust the scales for the volitility of the period.
The chart below has the same scale for the whole period to show how it works and you would only trade on a confirmed turn (up/down) anyway. Remember I not a day trader.

Using the new SC beta 6 "behind" choice along with the principles of macd with a signal line of 1, and adding an ema of 1 for color differentiation, you can do this chart yourself.

ema ratios using macd

Other than the fact that the faster emas react quicker to change than the slower ones, I'm not sure there is more here. If you look at the same thing in a weekly format, this becomes more evident.
