I would be very supprised if it came below 1185+/- and 1178 a hard rest. IMO.

exactly.... With max open interest at the cubes sitting at 36, they are trading at 37.5.. Not sure what the final games will be, but the option writers have 3 successive opex close away from them...

It is a bounded oscillator, but not really a fixed range like stoch. More like MACD ?

Yes , its range not fixed as stoch, so some macd resemblence may be as far as range goes. Zero line is the key border line, like macd... Also by being away too far from -0- as NDX is now, it shows overextension, stoch would do a flat line over 80, this one has no limit theoreticaly, but there are practical limits...
