And why do we need divergence, just a uptrending S&P with room to go and no real signs of weakness YET. Could change quickly, but every thing looks good --------- MAYBE TOO GOOD ??

LAUGH. I thought all charts had divergence? No? I'm just messing with your mind there. I've seen so many darn divergence charts posted lately, showing us that the rally is over at any moment, that I can't believe someone posted a chart with no divergence!

I've got some new tools coming to help build new systems. I've got the Metastock upgrade from Equis to 9.01 but have not installed it yet. I'm waiting for ICE 2.6 upgrade to arrive (in another week or two, I ordered it sunday)before I start building.

I had intended to rework all my Metastock Enhanced System tester systems by hand to include a trend filter on the front end during the optimization process and of course, the filter would be a part of the final systems. But the New ICE upgrade includes such a filter as well as other improvements to the system tester systems they provide, so I'm going to wait for it to arrive rather then rebuild all the ice systems by hand to include my filter.

I imagine it will take me a couple of months to rebuild and replace my existing systems. I'll just go at my own speed (as I have time) and replace them one at a time.

I wish you the best on your project, time spent will be worth it.
As far as messing with my mind, be carefull, you might lose some of it and then I would be lost.
