It is a lesser quality downtrend but nevertheless the first since the March low. The Zweig Trend as measured by the MID has not yet turned down yet. But the Zweig Trend as measured by the Value Line Geometric index has turned down by declining 5.3% last week. Last week the spoos declined 3 days in a row both on a closing basis and from the open. Most other indices did also. This price action coupled with a terminal pattern in the spoos is bearish. Porter
