Scott, SNYM looks ideal from a low-risk standpoint, and those pipelines make money no matter what energy prices do. Best, Doug

Thanks for posting. Those DO look interesting! :P Just bought a nibble of both ... if they tank (looks unlikely) ... no big deal. Stops in place. Due diligence to all and risk management is numero uno. Good trading everyone, C.C.

... do confess to Canadian bias. This Kingston girl would have stayed if
winters weren't so @#@# COLD. Give me Texas weather, any day!

CC, I greatly enjoyed my time in Canada, and I too have a Canadian bias - there's a lot of nice people there. Mainly, now, I think Canada's resources will make for gains in its share of world GDP, and that its currency will be relatively strong. All other things being equal, I favor Canadian investments relative to the US. Also don't think things really are quite equal, either - the energy prospects in Alberta alone are vast. It's been big news for the past couple years, but methinks it will be bigger yet in the long run. Best, Doug

Dear Monsieur Porkie Loin,

Agree with you that Alberta has some impressive energy reserves. My brother spent
10 years as a chemical engineer in Edmonton and used to comment on this.
But my one Christmas visit to Edmonton made me appreciate Texas heat!

Best, C.C. (and yes, we Canadians are polite ... that's what happens when you
have to burrow in your home for 7 months a year ... lots of time to think & navel gaze)

:D :P :D

Oh Canada, my home it used to be
Now Texas heat, surely that's for me
With glowing hearts I see thee rise
The true North strong and free

Let me be here, in Lone Star State
But earn some funds from thee
Oh Canada, glorious and free
Wealth-eee you are, so give some back to me
