I guess I fight an up hill battle in trying to get my wife to appreciate "healthy choices.'
We did have some very nice charcoal grilled Tilapia last night.
But when I got up this morning I found a print out of this recipe for
Death by Cheese Sandwich!
It is breaded and deep fried, made with 4 slices of white bread, mayonnaise and 4 slices of cheddar cheese.
French fries are recommended as a side dish.
My wife used to get them at a drive-in when she was a 90 lb. teenie bopper.

I don't know the original Chef's name.
Possibly ELVIS?

So much for tofu.

Retro fast food was always the best. Should we do that side of fries in lard? (pssst, if you look behind the counter certain grocery stores, you can still find coconut oil for you popcorn.)

:P The way to go is: Fried cat fish, fried okra, deep fried hush puppies, and french fries topped off with fried apple turnovers and a cold "BUD, take a nap, then start over as the sun goes down. :cat:
WOMEN & CATS WILL DO AS THEY PLEASE, AND MEN & DOGS SHOULD GET USED TO THE IDEA.
A DOG ALWAYS OFFERS UNCONDITIONAL LOVE. CATS HAVE TO THINK ABOUT IT!!

:P I see there are many different viewpoints on these matters. A co-worker of mine, much enamored of that evening "Round 2," is wont to say, afterwards, "Well, nothing to do now but go back to the room and let it turn to fat."

If that doesn't get you in the mood to put on a plaid skirt and turn a caber, nothing will :D
