And rest assured, there are a LOT of people who are attempting to squash Trudeau's extremely popular voice - THAT DRUG COMPANIES ARE JUST OUT FOR THE MONEY - AND THAT THERE MAY BE CHEAPER, SIMPLER AND SAFER WAYS TO LOOK AFTER YOURSELF. The FDA says it is against the law to make a "cure" claim for anything except a pharmaceutical drug that has passed their million dollar testing process. So, under their rules, it is ILLEGAL TO SAY THAT AN ORANGE CAN CURE SCURVY. Which of course, it can. Their laws are ridiculous.
As Harvard MD, and Harvard trained Botanist, Dr. Andrew Weil states "For ever pharmaceutical prescription I give, I probably recommend 30-40 different plant based botanical products. Despite this numerical difference, I still see far more harmful effects from pharmaceutical drugs than I do from plant based remedies." Gee ... I guess Harvard University shouldn't have given him 2 degrees
Kevin Trudeau has struck a nerve in American culture and I applaud him for doing so. I don't agree with everything in his book, but some of his simple recommendations, like walk an hour a day and eat less processed foods and manage stress and consider short term fasting (and colon cleansing) ... well, these are all proven and sensible suggestions.
The truth will win ... eventually. The status quo will fall.
