half a roasted chicken left over from previous day...add to about 3-4 quarts stock
add chopped -
half a bunch of fresh kale
half a bunch of swiss chard
1/2 cup each of corn, peas, sweet pea pods, water chestnuts, broccoli, carrots
1 cup black beans
3/4 cup dry uncooked quinoa or millet grain
season with:
basil
lemon pepper
tamari or Braggs to taste
ginger to taste
chopped garlic to taste
other favorite herbs
a little sherry or white wine if desired
simmer on very low for about 1.5 hour or less
I finished trading and chart work about 15 minutes ago...started on the food prep, and the work is done

forgot to mention the chopped 1/2 or 1/3 stalk celery and half a large sweet onion.
