Recession when money begins rotating out of equities into real estate value buys. Would be abundant existing RE supply at that point. New construction/ renewed economy comes once supply is bought up. Sounds logical to me.

This may dove-tail with the idea that the real estate market is expected by many to bottom in 2007. That would put us near the end of the economic expansion, right on the edge of the recession? What does well in a recession? Utilities?
In the end we retain from our studies only that which we practically apply.
