Texas instruments had done the same before it cratered ... That was the only thing I was scared of when I was shorting the september top... Do you remember Haliburton , right before it cratered %30, they announced 2B buyback too. Take a note of these companies folks, these will go under once this market turns. These suckers surely know their inevitable future... Overstock.com, remember that one? CEO was crying on TV every single day that their stock was being manipulated. Poor guys didnt have the cash to pump their stock so they cried but who the heck cared. They crashed the stock ruthlessly. Expect the same once Ebay breaks below $10 , you will see them moaning on bubble TV too. This market is larger than they can ever pump for a sustained period of time. 2B will be my rear once this market turns decisively and I am afraid time is rapidly approaching...

I think there is a big difference between EBAY and TXN compared to OSTK. Crunch the numbers and you can see it pretty clearly. But if the market as a whole rolls over, they will probably all go down....
Good luck is with the man who doesn't include it in his plan.

OSTK is a small fish that was eaten by big ones. Now big ones will eat eachother even your Dow goes to 36000...It is just a matter of time. Of course TXN and HAL are different story, but intention behind the buybacks are identical.

i guess youve considered massive pumping back of us dollars from overseas liquidity seems to be alive and well with a huge buy stop under the market as a whole maybe we just float along for a few years until all bears capitulate and distribution is complete i have no clue as ive been watchin mish too much how about some of those nice long term charts with targets :)

I think you'll have a tough go of it looking for 10 on Ebay. Too much company, not enough air. Still, 17-19 could be in the cards at some point. Right now, however, I wish I was long. Such a suckering I could deal with! Mark
