I bought and sold some electronic parts, I never had any problem. But I am not surprised about the shill bidding or any other shady stuff that might go on. So far, I always emailed to the seller first and checked them out, you can immediately tell whether there is any customer support behind the product beside the lower prices. The good feedback is usually there for a reason as well... - kisa

Never had a problem with eBay, but I acknowledge they certainly could be there. Back before Amazon started charging state sales tax, a guy I know probably saved $5000 on that alone. Doug
