I made a post about Shanghai Composite this weekend and I want to make one thing clear about it.

My expectation was a correction somewhere around %30, however as I said before I believe that index is today where S&P500 was in early 80s.

This is what I said almost one month ago.

Although Chinese market is now in corrective phase, I believe Shanghai index is where S&P was in early 80s. After a brief and sharp correction , say %30, that market may triple or quadruple in a few years.

Here is the link to my original post.

$SSEC was down another %2+ today. We will see if it can correct %30 but I believe it is entirely possible.

So once again, I want to make it clear that the parabolic correction SSEC is going through will be sharp and quick in my opinion and I believe that index can easily triple or quadruple in coming years as China will be the only super power , not only economically but militarily as well , perhaps sooner than most of us could ever imagine.

doubt it. Their time has not arrived yet. The next up-cycle (after this deflationary period of 10-12 years) will have multipolar world. If China rises, it will be at the end of that cycle (another 40-50 years), not now.
It is not the doing that is difficult, but the knowing

It's the illiquidity, stupid !

xd,thats a frightening prospect for wildlife as the chinese are profligate consumers of tiger bone, ivory, testicals of endangered species, live snakes and poodles (dogs), etc <_< the more exotic the species the more appetite they have for it. this is a fairly bigotted view as i really know very little about the subject :) .anyway, their record on the rights of any specie is rather dismal i believe. maybe im culturally centricized but i dont like commies anyway. that said, they cant be much worse than the bushies :P

can't be much worse than bushies...hillary can..and will, but they're their all the same..when will we learn.

Chinas military will be unstoppable itself in 5 yrs...
add Russians to the mix..and arab allies....vs US, israel, and europe....and you have global war. Sides are forming just that way.

Those commies don't need their stock market to rise in order to inflict pain. All they gotta do is cash in their trillion in US bonds to kill the dollar...
