CSCO has had a great run of it lately and most of it on emerging technologies. They have been buying back stock at quite a pace for 2 years now. I think they have topped out after testing thier highs of jan. 04. The networking biz is getting tough these days as Chinees competitors creep into the market. I think they'll make thier number plus a cent and guide lower for the next quarter. It's not a great short because they don't dump blue chips these days but it has been a proxy for the NDX and if they do sell it we could be in for a tough day Wed.

I'm staying away from CSCO.. too unclear here. CSCO has been known to kill bears with extreme prejudice.

I agree and there is not enough downside to grab.

Looks like Scientific Atlanta is red hot for CSCO.

2c..you think 28.99 will be surpassed today or tomorrow? guessing may be fun. I am long from near the AH lows..was eyeing 25.50-26 risk when entered long. upside looks promising for the moment toward 28.99

CSCO is now up over a $1.30 from the close. Market's smoking. QQQQ's up .25 cents from close. U.F.O.

My guess is CSCO will reverse all the gains within a few days, but I'm not touching CSCO.
