Hi everyone, IMHO, this is a set up before a Wednesday and/or Thursday slam down into Friday's OPEX.NM
The current Dow divisor is 0.12482483 which has now become in effect a Dow multiplier of 8.01 obtained as follows: 1/0.12482483 which equals a Dow multiplier of 8.01! Thus when MMM is up an actual 2.00, AA is up 2.00. and GM is up 1.00 the total is 5.00 x 8.01 (Dow divisor) which then adds a whopping 40 points to the Dow 30 aka INDU. 40 points was 50% of the Dow 30 rise when I wrote my comments above. IMHO, the power of the Dow divisor was used to sucker the public to run and buy while the professionals were distributing and selling short prior to the next slam down!

The "Dow Divisor" is to be used on the total cash price of all of the stocks in the Dow Jones Industrial Index. However, each component has their own individual weight to the index if taken separately and not as a total cash amount. The current weights in the DJIA are:
MMM is 5th with a 4.76% weighting.
GM is 24th with a 2.28% weighting.
AA is 27th with a 2.10% weighting.
The highest weighting is IBM with 6.29%.
The lowest weighting is INTC with 1.33%.
And as of this writing at 13:19, the Dow is showing "climatic behavior" by having 28 of its 30 components currently trading higher.
