I have tried nearly 20 times yesterday to log in and post some charts It took nearly two minutes to log in which was very unusual. after that, I tried to post some new topics but could not post anything as it took too long and AOL sent me <error> messages. today this is my 3rd trial to open <Fearless Forecaster> and post this topic. Just wonder if this happens only to myself or not (as my PC had a problem two weeks ago so that it could be just my problem) thank you

Yes site is behaving erratically, OK some times, very slow at others, maybe a hiccup of DOS attack

Yes, the DOS attack continues... we'll never know for how long. As the scripts we've installed block the offending IP addresses that are bombarding the site, there are slowdowns. We can't block the IP's until they've identified themselves as malicious.... so until that happens, we get slowdowns. As a last resort, we move servers, but that will cause more downtime, not just slow server response.

We're doing all that we can for now.

I'm guessing that someone petty is simply jealous of Traders-Talk.

I've always found this site to be slower than any others and think it may be worth it to change servers. I suspect that lots of folks may avoid the site because it takes so much time to navigate, even when it's at its best.

Claire, while we aren't at our best, the site moves pretty fast for me. Sometimes, we get slow downs from the ads, though that's fairly rare, and that can be addressed by anyone who wants to become a "No-ad Patron".

What sites (of similar size) are faster? I'd like to compare. I'd also like to move up to a faster server, but our ad revenues are down about 50% right now (sure, you guys can help by visiting our sponsors, where appropriate, and by donating).
