Why pick one? Why not trade in the direction of the flow.....until it doesn't? What is the current direction of the market, ST/MT/LT? Not down.....that's for sure. Folks like to call themselves "smarter" than the crowd. How many times have we all tried to be "contrarians" and beat the tape? What usually happens? We get taped up and beaten! Until the direction of this market changes, it's up. If you want to bleed equity, play otherwise. (5 charts)

I mentioned the Bollinger "squeeze" last week. This is what it looks like when a "squeeze" releases.

bobalou, all that bullish talk said, here's your favorite indicator of all time...VHF (Vertical Horizontal Filter). Otherwise known as a wonderful "strength of trend" indicator. Frankly, it sucks! It's indicating this rally is rapidly in need of a fix. As much as I'm sticking with the trend here, I don't like the momentum readings I'm getting on several indicators, this being the most important. Negative divergences are a part and parcel of any move, up or down. I'm ignoring this one until price starts to follow suit. Best. (1 chart)

I live in Memphis, Tn. Central time zone. I don't usually get on the computer until after dinner and visiting with my lovely wife for a few hours. :-) U.F.O.
