I am sure many have already reviewed many similar charts. I thought I would post some that I have been keeping an eye on.
Clearly VIX is at a very key point on a long-term basis.

In 2000 we had a very similar sequence with volitility IMHO.

2007 we tested the prior low in Aug, 4 times, we are now below the price level we were at on all 4 tests.

It looks to me like one should be looking for a reason to go long depending on the timeframe for the trade. As you can see in the chart of the 2000-2001 timeframe these setups were very reliable and tradable throughout the bear market.
I have run out of storage space for attachments but I will post the addresses and hope it works...
