we all have our own trading system..this is one I use, and not the only one.

note what price has done in the past following the events when price was above the value of the shift 3 ema during a price advance - it successfully warned of a coming turn down in 5 out of 5 instances, in the time period shown below

good point!
what is sometimes referred to as the leading ma,... is not leading.

can you post a chart of the Rut?

Dev...note the 3 ema has been shifted by 3..it is not a traditional 3 ema...it is a displaced or shift ema

Even my 'cross-over system' has yet to cross-over,..

however it is looking for a possible turn with the

vertical red line ...or even blue,.. and we are getting a Hook here.

it could easily fail this time as an effective warning sign...history does not always repeat.

more evidence of the utility of this trading system...

this time on a weekly for an equity..price is now above the 15-week sma, as well as the other two ma's..let's see if a sustained move follows -

much overhead supply above current price



here is PANL weekly, where the outcome is already known of price moving some time ago above the 3 ma's -

now price is testing approx 18.30 to 20 H zone on the lifetime chart
