Timeframes don't make any difference. Wyckoff's volume analysis is robust across all the timeframes. But let's not get into it. Whatever works for you.

You don't subscribe to Jim Wyckoff's website, do you? He's a snake oil salesman. He's Jim Cramer without a TV show. U.F.O.

OK dgengr. I agree. But here's the question. Why did I have to divine this truth? All these a'holes who have been blasting me...why haven't they said..."U.F.O. I think our timeframe is the difference."

U.F.O.

Same problem I have with momo traders who are all over me for .025% draw down...

Again, it doesn't matter what people use, if they can make money on it. The key thing is, every once in a while, someone posts something thats interesting to me. Its far and few in between, but I've learned a lot from those.

All the attacks on posters really discourage those posts. I'm still studying wyckoff. I've always known that in VST time frames, its great for day trading. And for IT time frames, it can mark bottoms. I haven't seen how it could mark an IT top.

I think semi is pretty good in swing mode, but his IT bias is pretty bad.

I'm not bad in swing mode using sentiment and statistics studies, but trying very hard to learn more in IT tops and bottoms. A-Ha is the best on this board for IT trades. No one knows how his flux works.. IT trades are where the big bucks are made.

I wouldn't mind parking a big [bleeep] position at an IT bottom, then doing little trades around it, going long or short say 25% position, just to keep things interesting.

You googled up the wrong Wyckoff.

"Proof that these rules and methods are correct is also found in their adaptation to other forms of trading, chief among which is the detection of accumulation and distribution at certain important turning points in the market. I have used this method successfully in forecasting the market for these principal swings and find it to be a much more comfortable way of following the market, because it is not so confining."
