i went out Wednesday night and started a tab and had 4 gin and tonics over the course of the evening...perhaps it may have been 5...ok six! when i went to close my tab the bartender hits me with a 300 dollar tab... i refuse to sign the reciept and am immediately escorted to a back room. Momemts later the LVPD shows up and demands that i sign the reciept or i will be arrested for GRAND Larsony. I tell them to go FCKU themselves and to understand the laws before that start whipping frivolous charges around. Granted I have a receipt in hand showing authorization of the charges and owing a zero balance. I just refuse to sign so i can dispute later with the credit card company. they cuff me from behind and decided to play ping pong with my head against the cement wall. they bust my melon open and then start frisking me for contraband and i guess sex toys for all i know... well low and behold after going to the hospital and then spending the next 24 hours in the pokie i was released at 4 am Friday morning without having to post bail....its at that time that i realize my key was never checked in as inventory to clark county detention center. so the first place i go is back to the bar and sure enough the car has been STOLEN...mercedes cannot be taken or its very hard unless the perp has the KEY!!! the security booth informs me that the parking plaza is heavily armed with cameras and it should be a problem to see the crime taking place... so here i sit waiting for the cameras to hopefully set me up with the lawsuit of a lifetime or dissapoint me with the ongoing corruption that continues to plague this devils playground is there a lawwwyyya in da house....somebody get me a lawwwyyyyaaa When you come to vegas under no circumstances should you ever give any cocktail waitress, or bartender your credit card when ordering drinks especially now that the economy is on the skids in sin city....these indigant proletarian high school dropouts who were accustomed to banking big money when things were hot are not resorting to primal instincts...

Seriously? If that's a true story you need to get yourself a shark of an attorney and go after the police, bar, etc. I'm no fan of frivolous lawsuits but can stand people who abuse power and authority.... oh...almost forgot..are you sure you didn't drink $300 in gin and tonics? Either you had like 40 of 'em, they sell for more than $40 each or these guys need to be shut down.

Well, you can tell cops to go f* themselves, but you can't do it for free - anywhere.

Amazing story! Only is LV! Just as a word to the wise.....what establishment was that?

I hope you can get some satisfaction from the legal system IC, but it sounds like the deck is pretty well stacked against you. Good Luck with this. D
