weekly OCC index putcall premium ratio ended at .78 after 2 weeks in the mid .80s area. for reference, 6/12 weekly came in at .75, .70 the week before. that.

reaching bearish territory, but the primary mkt trend may remain in meltup mode until the ~81TD cycle sputters out (not due until late August)....
fwiw, my software is giving the following cycle projections:

instrument, base cycle wavelength, projected #of bars to peak
DIA, 83, 21
(IWM, MDY), 81, 21
QQQQ, 41, 5
SPY, 81, 19

Thanks IYB. Here is the ratio of the two ratios:

Hey, Will. Where are you finding that on DP?

Thanks,
Mark

Three different sections in the picture above. 1) The place to enter the symbol, 2) properties of any chart and 3) way to customize indicators on the chart.

IYB, what Gogal said. The other way to get the symbol is to right click the area of the chart that you are looking at and you will typically get the symbol under properties. The exponential moving average can be added under the Price overlays section in DP's charting workbench which you can get to by entering the symbol in the box above.

Mark, the ratio of the two put call ratios ( !10PCROEX:!10PCREQU ) can be entered in the symbol box on DP to get the chart workbench.

Nice. I've only been using DP for a decade. Evidently I need to pay more attention.

Good stuff. Thanks.

May I use it?

Mark

The oex to equity ratio has been fairly reliable for the last 4 years, my only concern is I have not seen what it would have looked like before 2005.
Does anyone have a chart of this from 2000 - 2003, or is there no such data available?

This is a great thread! When I have to spend over a half hour lurking over a discussion like this, that's worth the price of admission and what FF should ideally be about.
Great stuff folks! yes.gif

Will that is great. This is what I love about this place - generous sharing of ideas and information. Wow- had no idea this data analysis was available, but now that I know it- I've got a lot of work to do. sweatingbullets.gif

I have been able to create just what I was looking for, but of course, DP has no provision, like StockCharts, for saving them. I tried plugging in the proprietary DP symbols into StockCharts chart construction and it "almost" worked. It didn't reject the symbols as invalid- it just wouldn't display the chart.

Does anyone know if DP and SC have any sort sharing arrangement to make the DP symbols display on SC so that one can store them?

Any help appreciated. Regards, Don
