This is definitely for the "Weather, not Climate" department (much like the June warmth--exaggerated by NOAA that it was), but it is still pretty interesting.
The Danish Meteorological Institute (DMI) reports that temperatures are now hitting the freezing line in the middle of the Arctic summer--that's WELL below average.
