Nice trap for the bears like me believing in a sideways consolidation for one more day or two before breaking down (2.7% up is not sideways consolidation) and nice bull trap set up as well for those entering long here. Longer term it changes nothing to me. Yesterday I was on average 10% in gain with my shorts, today just 8%. I will cover in october-november.

How can you have 8% gain on your shorts on a day like today???

stocks........not futures. USA stocks which I entered short earlier than 27th of july and italian stocks which I entered short on 27th of july when the sp was 1120, exactly. I understand that future-day traders who were short today are in panic. Not my case

It will top out pretty soon nothing to worry i covered my shorts and went long but i think it may last for a few days thats all.How can you have 8% gain on your shorts on a day like today???

We will double dip.
The market catches almost everyone on the wrong side. We always seem to get fake break out before that huge dump or the hugh dump before the false break down! Trade Safe!
