The end of the great Mayan cycle in the Mesoamerican Long Count calendar that may mark the end of the world. So, feel free to fill in the blank. Not that it's gong to matter anyway, but I'd say it all ends at 666 again on 12-12-12.

Yes, I know it may be 12-21-12, but 12-12-12 sounds better to me.

On a much smaller scale, my "short" count indicates last week is more than likely an IT bottom, provided the SPX stays above 200 DMA. If it dropped below 200 DMA, like the end of May through beginning of September, the conclusion of my 13-week cycle could mean another leg down. But, since the red curve's shorter, the downside may be quite limited.

You got it. Some numbers I'm watching....

6-13 low = 1265
6-15 close = 1265
6-16 open = 1265; close = 1267
6-17 low = 1267

================

spielchekr and Roge....

Father's Day doesn't ever get the respect that Mother's day gets.
I think it's because of the difference in what it takes in the beginning to become a father compared to becoming a mother.

So with that in mind, here's a little touching song from the late Groucho Marx:

"Today, Father, is Father's day
and I'm giving you this tie
"It's not much we know
it's just our way of showing you
we think you're a regular guy.

You say it was nice of us to bother
but Father, it was a pleasure to fuss.
For, according to our mother...you're our father
And that's good enough for us!"

~ Groucho Marx

What makes a good father? Maybe it's just the love.

What a treat! I've always enjoyed that episode.

In any case, I thought Atticus Finch, the protagonist in "To Kill a Mockingbird" is a great example.

For film buffs, I'm sure you've noticed in the movie "Vanilla Sky", "To Kill a Mockingbird" was on a small TV in prison guards' office while David Aames, played by Tom Cruise, who, in real life, had called his dad a "bully and a coward", was in prison.

Is that good or bad for the markets?
You could be a billionaire or an industrial worker or a teacher or a moderator of a forum - Hold a good conscience because that is what matters.

But, flipping the SPX future vertically, it does look promising, considering this being probably the only bullish thread over the weekend.

Good trading today....
