Call it what you want, but the swings will pick up now as we come into a trading high...VIX doesnt go down. This stage not for the faint of heart. Its time to own premium :D

If I was a fund manager or conservative value investor for a big time shop....I'd have to be saying to myself, "all-time and multi-year highs...sure would look good on that annual report about now...maybe we should take a profit here?" I'm ready to rumble :)!

The VIX remaining flat is not bearish.

We just made new 52 weeks highs, again. Definitely a sign of a top forming. :wacko:

not a top yet...but a pick up in volatility happens before a top. Traders are also fearful of holding premium into the long weekend...again, VIX has not gone down over a month with the SPX up big.
