That means I-5 is totally shut down between Seattle and Canada. Many cars fell with the bridge in the cold waters of Skagit river. No word of fatalities. Luckily it was the span nearest to land so chances are every one was rescued. I think I heard on TV it was built in 1955. The infrastructure in this country needs refurbishing. But we are spending instead to maintain 750 military bases throughout the world, most of it borrowed or printed!

They think an oversize truck hit it, there was at least one witness that saw that but the truck made it over the bridge. I have driven over that bridge many times. So far they have not found anyone that has drowned, but that could change once the divers search the area.
