It's only a swing trade. We don't really want to marry the bank or anything. ;)

Here's where a sound grasp of sentiment helps. Who DOESN'T know that the banks are a mine field? How many folks are confidently short a basket of their worst fundamental dogs? I bet they feel nice and confident, as if they got their FA right and that all is acting as it should. They're about to get it where it hurts. There's a lot of room to rally this sector, without even getting around to a change in fortunes. The squeeze alone could be something to behold. Of course, it's very likely that we revisit the lows. There is no base and all that volume beckons, but the system has to be clogged with shorts and da boyz know it. Now they've got some possible good fundamental news to press the bullish case. Note, I don't have the fortitude to trade these stocks but I surely don't want to short this rally for a while--not for all the tea in China, nor all the goetta in Cincinnati.

but that doesnt matter, all of the smart money is distributing or distributed out and dont need a chair, and since there werent enough small investors, they got the govt to hold the bag.

Funny the west is so angry with Putin for "knowing more about BPs oil business in Russia that BPs regional head" and his plans to control gas exports. How dare Putin make sure Russia gets the max income from its oil industry, not the corporations - of course they are mad, the script said once Russia was "democratic" western corps could strip all of those assets just like they do here! Government is there only to socialize the losses, Mr Putin.

When the PPP comes in with govt money to buy equities, and I think it is soon, we will see a dinger of a rally.
best,

I'll just say this... you can believe whatever you want. For me, the market does the talking... yesterday there were clean signs of distribution. That's a heads up.
