Traders-Talk.com has recently been in contact with the Greg Thurman, creator of the "Trading Management Spreadsheet" who requested that we add his site to our trading resources links area here at Traders-Talk. I suggested we might give it a go if he'd let three of our members evaluate his product for free for 2 weeks and let us know what they think of it.

It's a win-win, because he gets valuable feedback on his product & services, and we all get a fair evaluation of a service real time.

So here's what he's got:

This product has the ability to track your performance in up to (7) different categories. It comes with a few extras as well, such as the ability to forecast your "Expectancy" based on your current cumulative (or individual strategy) performance. A "Drawdown" calculator is also included to keep your money-management plan intact while viewing your potential drawdown possibilities for any of your individual strategies. There are up to (8) sheets in all (depending on which Market product you get); all designed to help you manage and "track" how your trading business is progressing.

The product(s) are intended to be used by Day and Swing traders, but can be used by any Trader regardless of timeframe they trade from. You must currently be trading in at least one of the following specific markets to participate in this review: Stocks (Equities), Forex (Pairs), Futures (Contracts). This product will work for simple Options traders, but not for advanced strategies beyond the simple Buying and Selling of Calls and Puts.

He believes that to improve your trading "future", you must analyze your trading "past", which is apparently what this product was designed for.

This will be a full-working product (not a demo, not a partial trial -- we want to know what his product really offers the average subscriber) and will be yours to keep as long as you agree review it for all of us during and after your 2-week period.

Because of the short trial time-frame, it is recommended that only day-traders volunteer for the review.

All we ask is that you give the service a fair shake and let us know how it goes.

That's it.

If you're interested in giving this guy a fair evaluation, PM me with just your name and email address and "Spreadsheet Service" in the subject line and I'll compile a list of takers and pick three randomly Monday morning.

I'll then send the three trial reviewers names and email address to Greg Thurman, and he'll take it from there. If you have questions about the product and/or service, you can post them here and Greg will be by to answer questions here in the Fearless Forecasters Forum so we all can see.

Thanks in advance. If this works out the way I expect it will, we might see if we can do it on a regular basis with other products and/or services.

is there a minimum number of trades per day that qualifies you as a daytrader for the trial? Since it works for futures options fx and stocks, do you want traders that trade more than one of these?

I think the purpose of requesting a daytrader is due to the short 2 week trial period, and to effectively show a track record during this time, i.e. if you're not trading *enough* you may not see the value of the service enough to give it a fair shake.

I really don't know what this would be, and would certainly be something to comment on the service... that's part of the evaluation process. Perhaps Greg can check in and give his $.02 along the way.

Hi dasein,

Thank you for your inquiry! No, you do not need to be trading each market to participate. Each individual chosen will need to provide TTHQ with their "chosen" market. Ideally, It would be great to have one participant chosen from each market (Stocks, Futures, Forex) so each product gets its own review. However, depending on the scope of traders who respond, that may not happen and I am fine with that. Actually it may be preferred that only one product gets reviewed by (3) different traders, especially if TTHQ traders are dominantly trading one market over the others.

And yes, I need Day-traders only to respond to this particular evaluation for the simple purpose of the trial timeframe "and to effectively show a track record during this time", as TTHQ previously mentioned.

My best,

Greg Thurman
