Instead of shorting pops. RF2 IT signal is turning up and I see we got a few weeks to go up.

With the President now talking we just might get a dip in a couple of minutes. I - BOUGHT 500 SHARES OF TNA AT $16.79 yesterday.

Any thoughts on the Russell 2000? I know I'm early - but I'm not a day trader.....

Thanks for posting real-time. ;)

Go figure - the market is up with the President talking must be some other news...

End of Feb & 1st part of March are seasonally strong. With the McClellan just making a very deep low, your position seem reasonable. And we have that Feb 17th gap above.

You weren't addressing me, however, the IWM showed a 25% expansion in daily volume Wednesday as it broke Tuesday's low but not its high. I see this as pushing lower on accelerating/Quality of Volume. It's bearish.
Current Positions: Long EEV @ 40.29, Long DUG @ 24.66, Long DXD @ 59.62, Long SDS @ 72.70, Long TWM @ 61.84, Long QID @ 48.21, Long FXP @ 20.43, Long SSG @ 43.76, Short XOM @ 69.31, Short AAPL @ 117.52

You may have noticed that SPX made a higher high and higher low yesterday after a 4% up day. I expect it to put a higher high and higher low again today. MAjority shorts not covered yet but they will be forced to cover soon.

I do'nt trade on news. Forget about CNBC, forget about home sales numbers which wont be good for years to come. Just focus on TAs.

Thanks for the comments Bullish and Bearish.... ;)

Reduced my FAS by half during the gap up and still holding around 2000 shares and now holding 945 shares of TNA in my brokerage accounts. Still 50% long in my 401k's...., but my system has me 50% long and I follow the signals.

I always have the mute on when I'm watching CNBC and agree about the media and the news.... Mostly rear window view of everything. However, I don't take positions on TA only, but I'm trying to understand it better since so many do....

If I used just TA I wouldn't have bought FAS @ 4.30 a share and not many buy signals on TNA.... However - for now, this BB trade seems to be working out, but I had already bought some of the shares prior to the recommendation... So I added some more TNA.

Thanks for your comments!

CNBC is now worth watching again due to Rick Santelli.
